The trade show season is in full swing and the Artsyl team was in Orlando this week to meet with partners, customers, analysts and thought leaders at the Shared Services and Outsourcing Week event. While the team has been up to their elbows in alligators, delivering demos of our InvoiceAction and OrderAction solutions for AP invoice and Sales Order automation, they’ve take a few moments to step back and appreciate all the interest, excitement and energy at the show.

This year’s Shared Services Outsourcing Week (SSOW) event in Orlando stands out as a tremendous success for Artsyl, both in terms of business opportunity and in terms of market and industry insights. During this years’s event, the team gained an event deeper appreciation for the commitment that shared services companies have not just to lowering their costs to improve profitability and competitiveness, but to truly adding value to their customers’ operations.

We had tons of great conversations with attendees about intelligent capture, digital transformation technology and the opportunity for process automation to deliver cost savings, achieve greater control and visibility and sustain a competitive advantage. We also learned that shared service organizations already have embraced the vision for a more automated, frictionless future—a future that has already arrived.

Robotic Process Automation is HERE, Today

After spending some time in front of prospects and talking to current Artsyl customers like Data Dimensions, product manager Roger Markham came away convinced that the process robots aren’t coming - they have arrived.

“The big thing is BOTs to deliver on RPA. RPA is the focus for taking cost out of organizations and proving cycle times,” Roger said in a quick message from the show floor.

As show sponsors and exhibitors, Roger said that Artsyl was well received as being able to help businesses augment and extend automation to data ingestion, validation and loading into business systems by applying RPA to eliminate process bottlenecks.

Artsyl’s digital transformation platform allows shared services organization to automate tasks that are typically the most inefficient, painful and error-prone - data entry and validation and document handling and routing. By leveraging robotic process automation technology and techniques, Artsyl can automate these routine tasks in a way that is flexible, adaptable and self-learning.

Taking Action: From Cost Savings to Strategic Impact

The vision and perspectives of shared services organizations we met at SSOW mirrors those of prospective BPO clients, who also were in attendance. In today’s ever-changing, competitive climate, every organization needs to focus on becoming more agile and adding more value to the experiences of their customers.

Relying on technology as s cost saving measure used to be good enough. Today, organizations of all shapes and sizes understand and appreciate that getting to the next level means going beyond cost savings to find ways to become more responsive to customers and to be pro-active rather than reactive to new challenges and opportunities.
