Artsyl teams with eCopy to Make Click-Entry Capture Easily Accessible to Multi-Function Printer (MFP) Users

THORNHILL, ON. (April 25, 2008) Artsyl Technologies, known for its extensive background and experience in document imaging and capture, and eCopy Inc., a provider of document imaging solutions that integrates paper documents into business software applications, today announced the availability of the Artsyl SimpleCapture Pro Connector for eCopy ScanStation. The connector enables users to seamlessly integrate with eCopy by sending hardcopy documents directly through the SimpleCapture Pro application.

A user simply walks up to the MFP, scans his or her documents, views the preloaded SimpleCapture profiles incorporated into the eCopy ScanStation™ interface and selects the correct profile, then returns to the desktop to work on click-entry capture with the scanned documents and their correct profiles,” said Riley. Additional metadata such as user, server name, date, and time can also be extracted for additional information at time of export.
