Today Artsyl announces the next release of it standard-setting ClaimAction solution - ClaimAction 3.0. The new version’s improvements include:

• Increased accuracy
• Ability to process new HCFA forms
• Ability to process UB04 forms
• Enhanced processing of degraded forms
• Increased accuracy of automatic form identification
• Increased processing speed


ClaimAction is Artsyl’s solution for extracting data from HCFA, UB92, and UB04 paper medical claims. Recent benchmarks have shown ClaimAction 2.0 to be the most accurate claims processing solution on the market today.

The already widely used ClaimAction is now even more accurate. The approximate increase in accuracy is measured in fewer uncertain characters. In the 3.0 release, ClaimAction demonstrated on average a 3% increase in accuracy. “We were proud to have the release on time and above expectations,” says Artur Vassylyev, Artsyl’s Director of Engineering. “It is not uncommon in the OCR business to see a speed reduction when accuracy increases, but in the case of the new ClaimAction 3.0 release we increased both accuracy and speed,” reports Mr. Vassylyev.

Because ClaimAction supports the new government-regulated claims, customers no longer have to worry about having to deal with the new regulations. Artsyl offers customers the ability to take the solution and test it on their own documents to verify how the solution will perform on their specific forms. This completely takes the guessing out of buying.

Chris Riley, Vice President of Business Development, reports that the updated ClaimAction will be available to all current ClaimAction customers who have participated in the updates program. This means that existing customers will automatically receive the new solution.
