The Microsoft User Group Summit events are like family reunions for the Artsyl team. We get to meet up with our partners and customers to catch up on their latest activities, eat good food and compare notes on best practices, business challenges and plans/resolutions for the coming year.
Technology partners in the ECM world like Altec, DocStar and KwikTag will be onsite in Orlando, showcasing their latest products, service and solutions, all of which rely on components of the Artsyl transformation platform to reduce the amount of manual labor their staff needs to do in order to pay vendors, fulfill customer orders, manage cash, forecast budgets and run their businesses.
Over the course of 2019, we’ve spoken to dozens of customers of these partners, all of whom leveraged their ECM solution along with their Dynamics ERP system of choice to create a straight through process for tasks like vendor invoice, customer sales order or check remittance processing.
Organizations like Government Scientific Source leverage their KwikTag ECM, Dynamics NAV ERP and Artsyl’s transformation platform to fully digitize and automate their AP process. According to their COO, Scott Stackhouse, their AP team loves the solution and how it improves their work life.
“It takes the tedium out of their jobs and gives them greater control over the process even as business grows,” Stackhouse says.
Multi-tool manufacturer Leatherman , is another Artsyl customer that leverages the power of intelligent data capture and document handling to make the most of their Microsoft Dynamics ERP—in their case, Microsoft Dynamics AZ/D365 for Finance and Operations. Leatherman relied on Artsyl’s transformation platform to digitize and manage vendor invoices to eliminate manual data entry PRIOR to migrating to Dynamics, but made sure that it would work well and integrate easily with their new ERP.
According to Senior AP Specialist Heather Williams, merging the capabilities of docAlpha with Dynamics AX will help Leatherman to achieve a new level of control over their AP process, while maintaining or increasing efficiency.
“Prior to docAlpha, people would just go order things, invoices would show up and the AP team would have to track down people for approvals and GL codes,” said Williams.
