Artsyl Co-Founder Chris Riley Becomes Youngest Member to Earn Seat on AIIM’s Professional Advisory Council
THORNHILL, CANADA
(February 26, 2008) — Artsyl Technologies, known for its extensive background
and experience in document imaging and capture,
today announced the appointment
of co-founder and AIIM Golden Gate Chapter Vice President, Chris Riley, to AIIM’s Professional Advisory Council (PAC). The PAC exists primarily to provide
a communication link between the local AIIM chapter network, the Professional
Membership, and the AIIM Board of Directors, and consists of seven elected AIIM
members who serve for a two-year period.
“It’s an honor to be on the PAC,”
said Jessica Lombardo, Manager of AIIM’s Professional and Component Relations,
who explained that part of the criteria for PAC selection is to be a supporter
of AIIM initiatives and dedicated to helping others understand their local and
national AIIM resources. “As a Professional Member, Chris has been very
involved with AIIM,” said Ms. Lombardo.
“As an active member and officer
of the Golden Gate AIIM Chapter, I am privileged to be selected as a PAC
member,” said Chris Riley. “Since many organizations and individuals can
benefit from the efficiencies of capture and document management, one of my main
objectives during my term will be to encourage broader education and
understanding of ECM practices among the membership and the business public at
large,” said Mr. Riley.
