The E-mail Import Connector works using POP3; type in the e-mail address to monitor, credentials for it, and the default workflow that should receive the documents. The attached image files will then automatically be processed by docAlpha. Use the e-mail subject line to override the default workflow selection and process documents with a different workflow.

The E-mail Import Connector provides the vital “glue” between POP3 Mail Server and docAlpha for document management systems, which will enable firms to considerably streamline processes saving both time and money by reducing the reliance and sheer volume of paper in circulation. The ability to move post directly into docAlpha import Station also allows firms to centralize document control and will help with the need to have wide document tracking.
